DEL NORTE, COLO., (February 29, 2016) — RWEACT is working with the Rio Grande National Forest and Rio Grande County through a Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) grant to address increased community engagement in the Forest Plan Revision process. Other partners include Hinsdale, Mineral, Conejos, Costilla, Alamosa and Saguache counties. Rio Grande County as the fiscal agent for this grant is seeking proposals for a facilitation consultant team to implement a public engagement process including public meetings, and gathering of information and analysis.  The selected consultant team will work with a Forest Plan Revision team. This Forest Plan Revision process includes working with communities surrounded by and located throughout the Rio Grande National Forest.
