LAKE CITY, COLO., (July 8, 2017):   The annual monthlong celebration of Lake City’s heritage begins August 1st and features cemetery tours, ghost tours, walking tours and interior homes, as well as the special presentation of Scarlet Belles.  A calendar of events is available from the Chamber of Commerce, at local establishments, or online at www.lakecitydirt.com  

The portion above the road of the Ute-Ulay site is now open to the public and a ten stop, self-guided walking tour available thanks to a Bureau of Land Management grant to Hinsdale County.
