SOUTH FORK, Colo. –  The Rio Grande Watershed Emergency Action Coordination Team (RWEACT) invites you  to attend a co-hosted forest plan revision meeting with the Rio Grande National Forest at the South Fork Community Center from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on May 26th.  In addition to providing a brief update of economic recovery actions underway, RWEACT will facilitate a discussion to gather social, cultural and economic assessment information for the forest plan revision. Topics will include identifying areas influenced by the forest, demands for forest resources and services, the economic connections between public lands and our small communities, and opportunities  for partnerships and increased economic resiliency.

RWEACT -- together with the Rio Grande National Forest -- brings together local, state and federal partners as a collective to address fire-caused natural hazards and impacts on human life, property, community economies, and the health of the Rio Grande Watershed following the West Fork and Papoose Fires.  More information can be found at www.rweact.org or call 970-596-9071.
