LAKE CITY, CO., (March 1, 2018): Thanks to the videography of Christi Bode, a series of informational videos cover topics impacting natural resource and water issues throughout the San Luis Valley - including the Upper Rio Grande - and our entire region. RWEACT and the Rio Grande Basin Roundtable provided funding for the Upper Rio Grande Basin: Watershed Health vignette (now posted at www.rweact.org). This eight-minute video is worth viewing and sharing.
Other videos feature The Conejos Watershed; El aqua es vida: Acequia Communities of Southern Colorado; Well Rules & Regulations; the Rio Grande Compact; Groundwater Management; and the Rio Grande Basin Water Plan.
RWEACT -- together with the Rio Grande National Forest and funded through the Colorado Water Conservation Board, the Department of Local Affairs, and the Office of Emergency Management – works to promote partnerships and actions that provide for public safety and resiliency of communities and watersheds of the Rio Grande Basin of Colorado.
