Save-the-Dates! Communication Workshops for SLVCCI Partners
Are you ready to step up your communication game? Could you use some new tools to better share the impacts of your work?
As promised, the San Luis Valley Conservation and Connection Initiative (SLVCCI) will be offering a FREE series of workshops over the months ahead. We’re thrilled to have the highly skilled facilitator and communications expert, Linda Lidov of Highland Communication Works, to lead these sessions. See http://www.highlandcommworks.com for more information about Linda and all that she will bring to these trainings.
The workshops are designed to help SLV partners create or enhance their communication strategies, messaging and storytelling. Whether you are reaching out to donors, prospective funders, volunteers, community members, the media or other audiences (or even writing your next grant application to the SLVCCI in 2018!), these hands-on sessions will provide you with practical tools, templates, and strategies to help you better tell your story and convey the valuable impacts you are having in the San Luis Valley— along with the collective benefits we’re all providing to our community!
We’re providing these workshops as part of SLVCCI’s investment in our region’s nonprofits, with a vision to ensure greater sustainability of our various organizations as well as our collaborative work into the future.
We invite you to send one to two people from your organization and/or board to participate. The workshops will be held at a central location in Alamosa from 10 am to 3 pm on the dates noted below, and we’ll provide a stipend for travel costs— to encourage your attendance. And note that the topics are meant to build upon one another, so please aim to attend as many of the offered sessions as you possibly can— this will provide a cumulative benefit to you, your organization, and our community efforts.
Stay tuned for more details and RSVP information in the coming weeks. In the meantime, please save the following dates:
